We're an NY-based hair/beauty eCommerce brand Densella and we are looking for a Shopify Developer to support our on-going Brand & Marketing efforts.

We are looking for a Shopify Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has experience in Shopify ecosystem, customizing Liquid files, building themes from scratch. Familiarity with Wordpress. Mid-level full stack capabilities: Javascript (Vanilla, ES 5/6, React, Vue, jQuery), HTML, CSS (SASS, LESS, Tailwind), PHP. Must have experience working with APIs and SDKs and revision control systems (such as Git.)

The ideal candidate is interested in hair and beauty industry, with the ability to work independently and be a self-starter. This position is remote, can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada.

What you’ll be doing- Responsible for front-end site design projects and enhancements, from conception to launch, using the Shopify eCommerce platform. Coordinate feature branches to WordPress production environment considering impact across web properties. Assist Web Services developers with version control and local development environment issues. Perform regular performance and code audits to ensure an acceptable customer experience. Monitor automated data imports to the Hachette WordPress platform and troubleshoot failures. Build or enhance shopping carts. Coordinate with Densella. Marketing to ensure proper collection of the latest Google Analytics. Recommend new products, tools, and technology to enhance the customer shopping experience.

Who are you?- Prior experience in the eCommerce space is preferred. Bachelor's degree in communications, business, marketing, or related field
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 3 – 5 years of experience building Shopify stores. Experienced in Shopify ecosystem, customizing Liquid files, building themes from scratch. Familiarity with Wordpress. Experience integrating Shopify and Wordpress is a plus. Mid-level full stack capabilities: Javascript (Vanilla, ES 5/6, React, Vue, jQuery), HTML, CSS (SASS, LESS, Tailwind), PHP. Must have experience working with APIs and SDKs and revision control systems (such as Git.). Working knowledge of Javascript frameworks such as Node.js or AngularJS desired.

Part-time at the beginning and potential to go full-time.
